NEW EXPERIENCE AT THE PACAYA-SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE
4 DAYS: PACAYA SAMIRIA AMAZON LODGE


Day 01 IQUITOS - PACAYA-SAMIRIA AMAZON LODGE
Reception at the airport by one of our bilingual guides. Transfer by boat to Pacaya-Samiria Amazon Lodge. The travel lasts from 3.5 to 4 hours. We will observe the confluence of the Marañon and Ucayali rivers, where the Amazonas River, by name, begins. Arrival to the lodge and accommodation. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will make a hike through the rainforest that surrounds the lodge to appreciate rainforest flora and fauna. Depending of the climate conditions, we will observe a beautiful sunset from our watch-tower. Dinner and briefing about the activities of the next day.

Day 02 PACAYA-SAMIRIA AMAZON LODGE
Wild dawn. Breakfast. Departure to the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve (PSNR). In the morning, we will make a trip by boat to Nauta Creek and the surrounding lakes to observe flora, aquatic birds, gray and pink dolphins. The first thing that gets the attention of the visitors is that the water of the rivers and lakes reflects with the fidelity of a mirror, the sky and the clouds, the vegetation of the shores and the big trees, that the visitors have the sensation of navigating through mirrors of waters. That is why the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve is known as the Jungle of the Mirrors Return to PSNL and lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit a riverside village to learn about the way of life of the local people and observe their typical activities. Dinner at PSAL and briefing about the activities of the next day.

Day 03 PACAYA-SAMIRIA AMAZON LODGE
Departure to the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. We will make a journey by boat down the Yanayacu River to the surroundings of the "Arequipa" village. We will observe gray and pink dolphins. We will also have the chance to observe a great variety of flora and fauna, like acquatic birds, aquatic turtles, primates, parrots and occasionally, macaws. Lunch (Box Lunch). In the afternoon, we will visit the Yanta and Japan lakes, which have a great variety of palms and big trees. The lakes are characterized by the diversity of ichthyology fauna. Observation of rainforest flora and fauna. Return through the Yanayacu-Marañon channel. Dinner.

Day 04 PACAYA-SAMIRIA AMAZON LODGE - IQUITOS
Departure to the city of Iquitos. Arrival around midday. Lunch by own account. City tour and visit to the handicraft market. Transfer to airport or to your hotel.
