Day 01 LIMA - HUARAZ
Transfer to station to take the bus to Huaraz. Reception and transfer to selected hotel.

Day 02 HUARAZ
Day free for acclimatization

Day 03 HUARAZ - QUEBRADA VAQUERIA
Leaving Huaraz, we drive to Yungay, passing different villages of the Callejón de Huaylas. From Yungay the road winds up to the Quebrada Llanganuco between Huascarán and Huandoy, the mountains forming the Cordillera Blanca massif, the highest tropical mountain range in the world. Arriving the Huascarán National Park, we meet the Chinanqocha and Orqoqocha lagoons, where we make a short hike for acclimatization.
We continue our slow ascending by car to the Portachuelo de Llanganuco Pass (4650 m). From this point, if the afternoon is clear, we will get a spectacular panorama of Huascarán North and South, Huandoy, Pisco and Chacraraju, one of the most difficult mountains to climb in Peru. We drive down to our first campsite at Pampa Machay (3700 m) in the Quebrada Vaquería.

Day 04 QUEBRADA VAQUERIA - PARIA
We start our program with a hike from Vaquería to Tuctubamba, passing the Quebrada Huaripampa, where we might see the local population doing their daily work. Our campsite is located at Paria at 4000 m. (5 - 6 hours walking, distance 11 km)

Day 05 PARIA - TAULLIPAMPA
Following the ancient pre-Hispanic path, we reach the pass Punta Unión (4700 m). This path was used by Conchucos' inhabitants to transport their products to the Santa Valley. From this point we will get the spectacular view of Taulliraju, Artesonraju and Hatunqocha. We camp in Taullipampa at 4100 m. (7 - 8 hours walking / distance 13 km)

Day 06 TAULLIPAMPA - LLAMAC CORRAL
From our campsite at Taullipampa we continue our downhill hike along the Quebrada Santa Cruz, where we can see the east face of the Alpamayo, the most beautiful mountain. The campsite is located in Llamac Corral at 3850 m. (4 - 5 hours walking / distance 12 km)

Day 07 LLAMAZ CORRAL - HUARAZ
Early in the morning we continue descending towards Cashapampa where we meet a vehicle that brings us back to Huaraz. (2 - 3 hours / distance 7 km). Overnight at selected hotel.

Day 08 HUARAZ - LIMA
Transfer to station to take the bus to Lima. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.
